Dear B-n-M subscriber,
Greetings from our entire team!
Foremost sorry for replying a little late as your query went accidentally into the spam folder (don't know how, but our IT team is making sure it doesn't happen again!).
Your query about "POURING STRIP" is a terminology in Civil Engineering which is used in many contexts, like:
- while casting concrete in slabs in strips (as in case of vacuum dewatered flooring where panels of a certain width- 4m, 5m, or so are made with MS channel sections as the mechanical trowel is of this width only),
- or, where concreting is to be done in alternative bays (parallel grid panels) so as to check the expansion/shrinkage of construction joints.
- or, where precast members are made in forms, and which are supposed to be cast in sequence to be detached/ saw-cut later upon final setting.
We love to have feedback/ comments/ queries/ contributions from our readers and visitors, which we sometimes also publish on our blog with requisite credentials of the sender. We hope you participating more actively sharing your knowledge with us too. Hope to hear from you soon on this topic, and otherwise too.
