The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) recently released and showcased a video/ presentation on the concept of Green Buildings during the 'Green Building Congress 2009'. The essence of the video is to highlight the importance and factors that define the concept of green buildings. It augments the basic definition of the green buildings (which is basically defined as: "A green building is one which uses less water, optimises energy efficiency, conserves natural resources, generates less waste and provides healthier spaces for occupants, as compared to a conventional building.")
